I am really confused about the physical attribute and age between the characters designs.

MC as 20 years old looks a lot older than his age.

MC's mother as 41 years old look a lot younger than her age.

i guess that living 6 years in a unsanitized world was bad for his skin so i think that it might be a good detail

This reminds me of that other manga, what was it called again? "even dogs dream of being hero"? That's definitely not it, anyway it has the main character transfer to another world when he is a kid and he spends like ten years or so there and becomes a celebrates hero who saved the world. Then he returns to earth and that time has passed. It means he is now someone who didn't go to school or have any previous job to put on a resume.
Anyway just like this manga it turns out demons and exorcists are real and the main character is someone with the power to help them out

I have mixed feelings about this start.

The girl in particular annoys me: "I'm going to kill you because you have high magic power so you're obviously a demon. Says I, a being with high magic power who is not a demon."
Also she's been told to observe and not take action. First thing she does when she finds him, take action before observing.
She's not only prejudiced, she's completely dumb.
I hope she won't be the romantic interest. She does feature on the cover art, but not as prominently as the angel.

On the other hand, I like the MC's character and attitude.
The man just killed a demon god after 6 years of living in the middle ages, comes back and decides to just enjoy his restored youth in the modern world.
"So I'm dating this girl you're interested in." => "Right, good for you. I'm out."
"I'm a spiritualist and I'm going to kill you." => "Right, I don't care. I'm out." => "You can't." => Cuts her in half, heals her. "As I said, I'm out."
Doesn't get bothered by childish taunts, doesn't take s... from self-righteous wannabe heroes.
So far, so good.

There are reasons for her behaviour.

So her older sister, the one who sat beside her when they felt MC's magic power, is about to be sacrificed to a local land god who has been "contaminated". The younger sister (the one who attacked MC) really looks up to her sister, so she is trying to prove how incompetent she is, so she will be picked as the sacrifice in her older sister's place. Add to that general stress over the whole situation, and you get her current behaviour.

Spoiler: Another spoiler for the end of her character arc

After the problem with the local land god has been resolved, she becomes quite fun, if you can tolerate a bit of siscon behaviour at least.

ChatGPT, combine all famous anime stories in the last 6 months and make a premise.

I'm not saying it's great, but this chapter basically took the whole prologue about him ending up in the other world, how his came back, him spending a few days absorbing the situation and then the spiritiual family girl attacking him and condensed it all into one chapter, with sprinkes of future characters sprinkled on top.

So the web novel is still "busy", but at least there is a bit more time to breathe between events and character reveals.
