Yea they did a poor job of attempting to explain it. I think the author is just an incel.
Basically the understanding I got was the people who resisted him were "good" and the people who didn't resist his charm were already "bad" people so who cares they were bad people. But it doesn't make any sense because as you point out the changes were drastic and couldn't be explained by as minor a suggestion as they attempted to say it was additionally they all completely abandoned him the moment his charm was broken. Obviously his control was much stronger than a simple suggestion. As I was reading it all I could think was this was really just the author attempting to pass judgement on different people who lived their lives differently than them because I can't imagine how else you could attempt to blame the victims of this.
But I'm pretty sure what I read was the webnovel so maybe an professional editor cleans it up a bit for the manga?
Yeah that shit is stupid so you're bad because you couldn't resist and you're a good person if you can. That's not how it works. By the logic every infant is born evil. Author is stupid. Author really trying to paint the barely 13 year old girl as evil. It's ridiculous.
R.I.P bro. He just returned, like look at this he lost his crush but he don’t give a care. Thats just how insanely he wanted to return… only to face another chunks of beings. Gl bro
Read a bit ahead and the way they all treat the yuto situation is beyond stupid
[
So apparently he has a charm ability. Dude was basically doing the equivalent of spiking a girl and sleeping with them but with magic instead of drugs or alcohol. It's kinda unnerving how the author writes the characters as seeing this as no big deal. MC clearly saw a drastic change in his sister and thinks that's normal. Anyways after vol 2 it became nonsensical. Author really tried hard to make his charm seen as no big deal and brush it off by the characters. Like anyone with a brain can see yuto was doing something to these girls. The MC had no way of stopping it but it's fucking stupid that before he was sent to another world the adults were aware of him and did nothing. Actually useless.
Yuto is also underage and was involved with adults and had girls prostitute themselves for him. And they just let him because the charm wasn't strong enough to affect SOME people so it's their fault. Like holy shit the author has no concept of power scaling. It's the 6-13 year olds fault she couldn't resist a charm effect. Like bro what??!!!
Then they try to play off the other female childhood friends like they were always like that, especially the one he called the teachers on because she was trying to get him to join the basketball team run a train on her. And when he asked the god posing as one of his teachers if Yuto's charm ability had anything to do with that, he's like "No, she was always like that."

It's just so stupid man. If someone called the author an incel I wouldn't blame them. It's hard to defend this bad writing. I hate using that word but it would best describe it.
The fact the author tries hard to like 5 different times with different characters to say they were always like that feels so forced. Like trying to desperately convince the reader of this, otherwise you'd realize how flawed the logic is. Author really is trying to say these 6-13 year olds were natural sluts for yuto. Like c'mon bro
No, that's actually the good part, it's just so out of place.
There is a villainess isekai that that suddenly starts preaching lgbtrqcpp++
rights and plights midway.
Here is a goofy stupid reverse isekai that suddenly starts dropping red pills about Chads and Tyrones, women accountability, fidelity, and mastery at gaslighting and playing victim.
Like it's not some nonsensical isekai about middle schoolers and aliens, but an youtube video with an 40+ yo "asshole" wearing sunglasses talking about modern women like it is, trying to warn young men not to marry, be on gring, have purpose, and watch out for red flags in relationships.

Asking a <13 year old girls to take accountability after a guy used charm on them. Bro kids are easily manipulated, that's why adults constantly have to warn them about talking to strangers and be careful on the Internet. It wasn't exactly grooming but c'mon man the shit yuto was doing was disgusting and the fact so many were aware of it.
Since I've seen some people hating this manga (including some group reader) I want to give a different side(more positive & some explanation) from a reviewer in the novelupdate, please give it a try
This is by Seventh tale and I quote:
What a disappointment... and I'm talking about the ratings. The reason I rated this high is because it has a "not unlikable MC" + interesting settings, and fun developments.
"Earth Turned Out to Be Quite the Fantasy Too" This is the main part you should focus in title. The story is like a daily life in a certain city in Earth that turned out full of fantasy creatures hiding within humans. Yup, it might not be new, but the various development that appear is just interesting and fun to read.
Also, Losing Heroines, Stop Looking This Way - This one is the misleading part. You might think that the story revolves around the MC gaining powers and instantly gaining harem due to the girls who originally like him, but nope. One guy in the reviews dislike how the MC didn't forgive her sister even after knowing the she got charmed, but
This didn't invalidate that the sister destroyed their family, and spouts a lot of insult to both MC, mother, and even her own father. Further the story, you'll realize that despite those girls originally liking the MC, the MC has no interest at them, and... their personality are all troublesome. Like one of the childhood friend who is in relationship with whole basketball club despite being charm.
The guy's "best friend?" charm is not absolute. You can think of it as if redirecting their love to him, but it can't change their personality and doesn't work at everyone. So all the shits they did are part of them.
The whole story won't revolve around this setting, and it's just the MC persistently avoiding them until they got out of line and got dealt easily. With how chaotic his life because of fantasy encounters in Earth, he barely have time for the idiots.
The MC (Natsuki)
This guy just want to live in peace, because his fake best friend (Yuto) obsession to see him despair. Meaning, Yuto never really succeeded, although he managed to bring lot of troubles to Natsuki's life.
Even after returning to Earth after 6 years, someone said that he didn't mature and dislike his self important attitude (which is not really true). His self important attitude? is because his life in Earth is already full of troubles, then the world he got transported is a shitty world full of human scum, he's just freaking fed up of trouble brought to him by annoying people. When he came back, of course he will be excited like a kid, after all the other world is full of shit, in both people and lifestyle.
The MC dislike the other world so much that he didn't even eat anything there and only able to acquire an ability to use mana as life force instead. Furthermore despite finishing his whole adventure in that, he didn't even manage to get the full cooperation of his holy sword. My point here is he became strong in short time that it looks like he speedran the whole isekai just to return.
The MC won't hesitate to kill anyone even human if turn out they are threat. Yup there will be deaths despite it being in Earth. But the MC also will help others in trouble. If he encounter trouble related to him, he won't be like "not my business and then went away" he will tackle them and then be done with it.
He's definitely not the arrogant type who just because he gain power, he started collecting harem. After reading further in raw, there are only two girls who's interested to him and might stay like that. I like the fact that the MC is sociable enough, and how there are male characters in the story he can call bro. This is a big plus to me because I won't think that the author just want to self insert himself being surrounded by girls.
Regarding romance, the MC likes both the Angel and the female police equally. But, he didn't know if it's love or not. Even though he mentally grew in the other world, it seems he killed his heart and mechanically killing enemies for a long time. The only time time he felt emotional is when he realized he could return to Earth. Due to this, as long as he's surrounded by his family in Earth, he's satisfied enough.
Update: Because of the MC's experience in the otherworld of bulldozing things to quickly return home, whenever there's an enemy, he's quick to resort to violence, that even other characters and enemies are troubled. This part of him can be annoying for some. But at least, he just respond with this whenever he encountered an enemy.
The Setting
If you read the synopsis, it tells how the MC will encounter various fantasy species making his life chaotic despite wanting to live. This brought a lot of funny interaction albeit chaotic life to the whole story. Within a week after returning to Earth, tons of things happened.
Like knowing the psychics exist, saving an alien (it's funny how they recreate ET here lol), and even killing a guardian god and getting a powerful family in debt with him.
And you might misunderstand again thinking that it will be about the fantasy species in Earth getting ahead of themselves then getting kicked in the bu*t by MC. But this is not entirely true. There are a lot of creatures and humans that became friend of MC more than enemy. You can think the story as a fantasy slice of life in Earth. There are troubles but not entirely because there's a lot of enemies, but more than, big figures becoming interested on the MC or getting him caught with their own life.
Oh, and the big figures like Satan, and Gods are easygoing people which made the story funny. Because of these, there's a lot of gags and comedic moment.
This is an enjoyable read for me that I kept reading in raw. If you're still into fantasy stuffs that can make you relax and even laugh then this is definitely a good story. The 3.1 rating is just too much, that I might not even try this. Thank you reviewer who said the story is funny

Yea that is the one that I'm having the most trouble with, haven't really wanted to pick the novel back up after that point. Girl has been brainwashed from a very young age for like 6 or 8 years... But no that trauma didn't impact her at all she was just "always that way" Does not make sense the brainwashing happened before there was any chance for her to "be that way".

This is by Seventh tale and I quote:
It's not even about forgiving them or not. Its the fact they all put the blame on the girls and act if they were naturally like that. You're going to tell me anything these girls are doing is natural? You actually think a girl not even in HS wanting a train run on her is normal fking behavior? That because others were able to resist it's their fault and it wasn't a problem? Not even mentioning the illegal shit yuto was making them do that they were aware of and outright ignoring. Underage compensated dating? Just think about it for a second how stupid and awful that sounds. The charm did in fact change them and cause them to act different. MC and the other adults ignored it and allowed yuto to ruin the lives and scarred many girls.
In fact it did not. Author wrote it did not. Their behavior and writing points out it did not. Their actions and consequences were in line with reality, logic and real life precedents.
You're arguing about and defending nonexistent characters you made up in your head.

Dude... Just so you know I'm not doing this out of malice,
I know you're frustrated, I'm aware you don't like how the author wrote the story, THAT'S FINE! Totally, you're already wrote your piece of commentary,
I'm not doing this because toxic positivity minds you, I'm sorry but I just have to call you out,
But based of all your comments here, you appear as a not very mature person, you're just a hater,
Trust me I get it, it's like "Chicken Jokey" or "Skibidi" meme brainrot, people seems to like it but I doesn't find it appealing so I ignore it,
That's why, I'm going to give you the most realistic, logical, & honest feedback:
Why are you still here?
To convert all people into hating the thing you don't like?
To keep writing until everyone agreeing on something you despise?
Aren't you tired of hating on something?
It's fine to criticize, but MOVE ON, you always stick around for some reason
Don't you have better things to do? You're a group leader right? Work on some project, spend your time chatting with your team, not dwelling on a comment thread like this
