@jokerxhisoka He's basically an atheist living in a religious world. His magic will be absolutely useless to demonic power/energy, no matter how knowledgeable he is, without receiving the Goddess' blessing. All he can do right now is suppress symptoms.

@jokerxhisoka That's not how curses work. Even in different settings, some curses can never be broken unless you kill the caster responsible for them. In some stories for example even gods were unable to break an specific curse. So it doesn't matter how superior his magic is. It won't be able to erase all kinds of curses.
That's the reason why I was once tying to create a concept of a character who could actually break any curse whatsover. yes even curses that gods also fail to break. He'd do it by overwriting the emotions instilled in the curse with his own hatred for curses, which in turn would always result in lethal amounts of backlash towards the original caster. The character would be an important but neutral character in a story I wanted to write and he'd be known by the name of Curse Killer, since he can break literally any kind of curse, and doing so always results in death.

If physical means can hurt demons there is no reason his magic should be useless though, since his magic is messing with physical things and not magic energy by itself...

Pretty sure curses can be put in anyone and just happens the ones the MC have met are women...
