I mean...I can't really feel bad for those guys there, they really were a bunch of disgusting maggots blaming their own misfortune on someone clearly not at fault.

I mean regardless of who the demon showed up looking for (and he was visibly surprised to find Lefille in the caravan in the first place, you'd have to be blind to not notice it) losing your two strongest fighters just means you have no way to defend yourselves when the demons come for you and...well they already know you're there, and they're demons. They'll kill you anyway even if it accomplishes nothing. So this second run-in isn't even misfortune anymore. It's their own stupidity.

eugh... such weak story development, i mean ofc we all had a strong hunch that the demons would come back after she was chased away from the caravan, but this "its your fault that the demons are slaughtering us even though we sent you away after saving our asses the first time they attacked" is sooo cringy... was he going for shocking?.. i dont write many comments but this... is... just.. MEH!

should have done it cheesy instead, have some of the caravan survivors apologize for treating her like that before dying... cheese i can appreciate, but not cringe

Well I know it's stupid to write something like this, but I see the point of author. Real people when they're facing problems, they tend to blame others. It's normal for feeble mind people to think that way just to make themselves not taking any responsibility.
Now I only want to know how would the MC kill that demon, because earlier he couldn't do anything.

yeah, the mob part was very cringe to read through, like, i'm gunna stop here for a moment, sure demons are right behind me tearing people apart. But its REALLY important that i tell this girl its all her fault. Oh no, i just got grabbed and impaled, gotta rub it in that its all her fault.
People don't think like that when in a state of panic/terror. Sure, afterwards when they think its clear they might play the blame game but not mid sprint away from flesh tearing horrors.

I don't know if it was discussed elsewhere but can someone please explain to me the MC's powers? He's able to cast magic stronger than any other human in that world... then he's powerless... then he states his magic isn't effective against the demons... then he's ripping through the demons like they're paper.

Seriously, am I just missing some crucial detail?

MC magic is raw power. think of goddess blessing as demon bane enchantment. demon getting hit by MC magic is equalvalent to getting hit by natural disaster event that doesn't cause by goddess. Except natural disaster is enough to tear demon apart

Think of Demon as Kryptonian their weakness is kryptonite all magic in that world are blessed by kryptonite(goddess blessing) but even Kryptonian if they get hit hard enough they'll still take damage (like superman vs doomday) MC magic is just that powerful despite not being imbue with kryptonite
edit2 : or think of magic of that world as holy magic that good against demon and MC as demon killing another demon

and i think mage in MC world are very careful of another mage bc their magic is so powerful that they don't want to fight with one another
