i mean that's not entirely true, the novel does have a story even if most of it is smut.
its just really bloody slow.

It is actually making story progression, even if they are being pretty slow, and a bit sneaky about it right now.
Also the sexy times is quite literally a daily routine that he does every morning and night, so dont expect it to show up less anytime soon.

This whole arc is mostly about the MC learning about the world, so alot off it is skipped as its mostlly fluff.
There were a few more events about him trying to learning common sence ( or at least a little bit )
The MC´s current main goal is pretty simple, he wants to get stronger and live a happy life with Roxxane.
Right now he just want to be able to make a living to support his lifestyle (witch is in most aspects on the level of a high tier noble )

He have realised that if he wants to make the big money just one party member is not enouth and is planning to get another one soon.
He is going to get a dwarf slave, as he wants another party member and somebody to enchant his wepon and armor.
Smiths are a rare profession only dwarfs can have, and is the only once who can do that.
Smiths dont work on comissions becouse of the failure rate on enchantment ( most items break when enchanted ) and because of it is easy to scam people who dont have the ability to check if the smith is legit or not
So he decides to get a low cost dwarf girl who he can train into a smith.

The next arc is going to be her introduction, and about how smithing / enchanting works in this world.
If you dont consider learning about the world and character development as story progression there won't be any until after that arc.
Couse for the next 2 arcs all they are going to be doing is diveing into the dungeon for profit, and learning how to make a living one way or another.

I skimmed the novel on wayback machine, there's absolutely nothing will happen ever.

And every good story has to have a goal, just treat this manga as a "filler", similar to those other slice of life ecchi with good art.
