Fair, I tried to follow the kanjis(総長) meaning which left me with president/general/leader, commander and captain were also viable if I was okay with deviating from the kanjis
But then I remembered I already used president in Ch36 and decided to just be stubborn and stick with it
If you want a more “organic” answer, think of it like a club president for the Celestial Knights and a school president for the normal knights(I hope I’m making sense)
