Entirely possible. I read it simply as a complete genocide, wiping out every citizen and building in the nation, but mentioning it in the same chapter as the 4X rule, does certainly imply that they’re trying to hint at a connection

It's a number of factors

1. Church is corrupt and they need to make Lenea to clean it up
2. Oracle reported a King of Ruin
3. Missing scouting force provides causus beli that "king of ruin is dangerous" on top of that
4. They need a claim that Lenea is powerful, and killing a great king of ruin is a big one
5. TTRPG support makes them think that attacking someone unprovoked is "easy", "safe", and "unbeatable"
6. If they can convert hero units from another player's system, that's a substantial upgrade over just Erakino as intelligent manpower

Erakino is the player-controlled character in a tabletop RPG. The actual player is the "master" she always asks to roll the dice.

I forgot, Erakino is the northen witch, right? Then she triedto mind control the saints if lenea, but did she get uno reversed mind controled?

In the fashion of tabletop RPG, her "mind control" skill simply modified the status of an unit from [enemy] to [friend], it didn't alter their memories or mindset. Unlike Atou however, Erakino and Soalina actually developed genuine friendship, so she decided to help Soalina realizing her ideals.

Honestly terrified I’d have to drop the series cuz Atou became damselled. Seems like she’s not. They can’t kill her cuz of political reasons and to prevent Mynoghra from going full kamikaze on the nation if they believe Takuto’s still alive and is willing to throw everything for vengeance. And she can’t kill them cuz the literal game system says so. Seems like a good moment to find more flaws in the system with this situation. What loopholes can Atou exploit to her advantage here? What lies can she slip through, do half truths work?

Sadly Atou is fully on their side right now. She isn't playing a role or pretending. they fully brainwashed her. it comes up later but just cause her loyalty switched that doesnt change her devotion to what is essentially her god. Cause in table top rpgs all characters have their alignments and the gods they worship. Erakino worships the GM, Atou worships Takuto.
