Prob because dude gonna immediately escape again if that happened and explosion will make that easierWas expecting a flour explosion. Why stab him?
Maybe because he also wants that other book as well. And maybe loot the body. I wonder, if he got the inferior book, will both book just combine? Or will he gave the inferior one to his companion. Was expecting a flour explosion. Why stab him?
"Range: 30 ft. circle". MC knows his spells. Those traps were set up at the back of the warehouse, beyond the range of the detection. The trap in the corpse was a "ghost hand" aka Mage Hand; that's not a trap, as ruled by the DMG; as said above re: spells, MC knows his terminology. So he use a detect trap scroll and it doesn't pick any of those very obvious trap huh ? dude got screwed
because they were not a trap in a sense the crossbow is a dummy the flour is well just a flour and not a threat while the explosion is just a magic hand spell(that's why he detect it with detect magic but not detect trap)So he use a detect trap scroll and it doesn't pick any of those very obvious trap huh ? dude got screwed
I would say that there were no traps at all, because for a trap to work it needs to be activated by the attacker' actions and that's not the case we have here. I see all the things prepared by the MC in the warehouse as the remote controlled weapons. So he use a detect trap scroll and it doesn't pick any of those very obvious trap huh ? dude got screwed
