Sometime after this chapter was released, the publisher announced that serialization was cancelled since the mangaka was unable to continue due to health problems.

It's possible that the story will continue to be adaptation under a different mangaka with a new serialization, but I'm only saying that because I've seen it happen with other adaptations (Overlord for example).

For those wondering why the manga was cancelled. the manga's illustrator, BARZ, had many health problems (13 chapters in 3 years). The author, Aono Akatsuki, and his publishers didn't want to put BARZ's health in danger any longer, and preferred to end the manga hastily. The info can be found on ganganonline (the site where the manga was serialized).

to be honest, i still wonder why they drop the series. i know the publisher message, BUT the talk is only about the Artist BARZ, not the Author. they could either redo the Series with a new Artist, or have someone take over the art. for them to fully drop this series without any attempt to restart it, would be a pretty big loss, since so far, the story was fine.
