From reading along with the source WN material, he feels a bit too edgy to be a ruler. As other commenters said he has no dignity at all, just an immature and emotionally retarded guy. Overlord have better portrayal of a ruler than this supposedly weak-in-fight ruler-exclusive mc.

Sorry to hear it got cancle. Honestly I enjoyed it. The artist did really nice job with the style. I like how the non humans species all look like. They place little details of all the species in the kingdoms, especially during the speech you see them hanging on the roof and throughout the city walking around

Mhm totally agree , one way I would see if people were putting money into it over in Japan. Like in sales. That could encourage push for the manga version. Nevertheless it’s up if you catch people and some time of moment Happens. Getting promoted by someone wit influence. But overall, their health comes first too. Mental or physical health.
