I thought something awful was going to happen to her on her trip to the market since she ignored everyone's advice and went unaccompanied. But nothing happened at all. Since when do they throw Chekhov’s gun into the garbage?

As of now, from chapter 1 to current chapter, we still don't know what kind of blunder the father made. We will have to wait for the mangaka to draw a flashback to what exactly happen to him during his time in ministry. And yes, we have the novel and if there's anyone read the novel, does the author explain that incident in the novel? That's the only puzzle to piece up everything as we have many people here gets angry for everything that the father had done. As of now the manga focus on Patience only, for now.

Man, I almost wish the royals didn't like her so much. They just keep "inviting" her places that they think is a huge benefit to her which are really just gigantic impositions!

The warning was that it was not "proper for a lady" rather than it being dangerous. Thus why it was about being accompanied by a maid and not about having a guard.

Man, everyone is hating on her dad when he's a perfectly decent person who is just currently unable to properly provide for his family. Meanwhile, the trio of the princess' friends are still displaying their catty personalities. But neither matter to me much, I'm fully invested in what Patience will do next.

Beach episode seems fun!

Also, I'm confused. She mentions she is aware of the "handsome boy from the knight club" but it seems to have been skipped in the manga?

Well, they all warned her about the alchemy club too.
I'm more weirded out by the fact not a single other person was depicted during her outing.

This isn't that kind of typical isekai story. It's a low-stakes, slow-life series where the MC regularly discovers new ingredients, cooks new dishes, and find the time to invent new creations for her club and friends. Things only pick up a bit once she is in her senior year and goes on her second summer vacation.
