really hope to see you continue this for as long as you are willing. its a nice little series and the translation is decent enough we can follow along without stressing ourselves. it has only been done upto chapter5 previously (groups banned from mangadex) and the story seems pretty good up to that point.

If anything, she's no less critical of him than you're being of her in passing judgment like this.
I guess I'm projecting because the situation is similar to mine: my parents already died and we have money issues. So when I saw how her father is still alive and how he cares about her, yet how quickly she disliked him, it really hurt me because I wish my own father were still alive. I wish I could help my father with money and family issues.

Thanks for your words. I won't continue reading this manga.

Thanks for handling translation. You did some work after the machine.

See what second impressions are like with the princess...

Well, I was 75% right last chapter. "Here's your new class schedule" happened but I thought she'd wind up being stuck with the princess as her lab partner; not railroaded into being her personal maid.

So the royal family is strong arming people into a job and not paying them in anything other than 'honour' - what next, paying people in exposure? :dogkek:

Coming to drop some RAW spoiler \- -\
There's no 'wage' but the princess will pay for stuffs/gift stuffs to FL.

Giving money directly would probably be taken as the master caring so little for the attendant that they don't even know what the attendant want.

The in-story example is when the princess request to have lunch together at the salon, princess will be paying for those meals.

If her ladies maids all refused to move in to serve this princess there’s got to be a reason for it. From the looks of it, she’s got a bad personality. Or maybe her jealous brother said something about her and she’s a bro-con?

Maids aren't allowed to stay in the dorm.
i.e. for noble girls this means no maids to care for them, so you can imagine they'd rather go home and have that care instead of learning to do a 'servant's job'

This is probably part of why the queen is trying to appoint Patience to take care of the princess, as she's the only class A female student staying in the dorm.
It may also be related to her family's reputation + if the queen heard about her cleaning magic level.
