Sorry but it will take a while, the entire mastermind is like a Matryoshka doll, there always will be another one hidden.
Great, see y'all in five years lol

(tho, it'd be nice if it was popular enough to get an anime, maybe they'll make the pace a bit faster in that. I know the author's other Slime tamer work got an anime at least?)

We probably won't see an anime as the novel has already ended.

And it ended on a sad/bitter note as it wasn't a good ending for the MC who suffered a lot and for quite some time, facing many crisis without much of a breather until his early death because of the consequences of the botched work made by those responsible of his transmigration... As it seems that in this world too much power will kill you.
But at least the golems "adventures" and "missions" were hilarious and well worth the read.

Ah that's too bad but i imagine if the mangaka doesn't make it open ended or stop halfway, i feel like that original kinda ending would've suffered some backlash versus a hint of him getting reincarnated again lol

For once it's actually a real ending, with proper closure, neatly wrapped up plot points and even a slow build up with breadcrumbs spread along multiples volumes to a decently written baton pass , a nice change from the usual "our fight has just started" crap.
That's why the ending felt right, even while being quite bittersweet.
I hope the manga version won't end up as an ad for the novel tho, breaking at a random point way before the novel's ending (I wanna see the batchu and kids' adventures, the leader and sub-leader machinations unfold in the god's and demon's worlds, and the cute curses.

I guess it's not so bad if he had a fairly good life even if it's cut short since idk if being 'immortal' is a blessing versus some ending where he left behind some children or reincarnated as well
