The author didn't really think this through, in the previous chapter the researchers had discovered MC could cut stuff just from targetting something.
He slashed the giant golem to kill it, and it broke the core that was far away, that means that if MC decides to cut something conencted to his target or that he knows exist it will be cut, what I mean is that showing a real time hologram of yourself is like painting a target on your back if MC is your rival, the moment MC realizes you exist you are finished.
The only "right" way to do it would have been using a sub-assistant to talk with him.
Even the "stopping MC from cutting" tactic was stupid, as he only sent 5 powerful people against him, should have sent someone with the power to block him, like stun or paralyze, and I dont know if that would have been enough as it seems he evolved to the point that thinking to cut something is enough.

"Stopping MC from cutting", with your ideas are not bad, because even if he is quite quick, he need a blade to do damage.
The problem here was that the 5 got cut by the automatic slashing strikes he put on his wife so he has to be alone for that those type of tactics work.

I think Suzuka's betrayal was stupid but I love why it failed : because she underestimated how much her husband loved her =

• She could used pseudo authorities because she is his kin/family/familiar (and so his slave) by the system because the very first things he has done when he learned the true nature of his power was to cut down the slave contract she had the prime minister and gained it like an authority as result (because which husband let be enslaved by someone else if he could put an end to it)
• She could steal authorities because of all the reserved slashing strikes 10 000, (and he still increased it whenever he can) he prepared for her so she will always be safe.
• And her initial plan was for her to rob him of the "ripper", make powerless and be the one in charge of them instead, and leaving him a cute mistress as compensation, yet she also underestimated her own possessiveness, just seeing him getting cosy with another woman make her throw up blood.
