I did not read past that last chapter in the novel so I have no clue about any internal dialogue, monologue etc.
I also suddenly realized. Did they ever talk about the statistic correction, usage of exp and the drawbacks of increasing your stats in the manga? The MC never used his experience, he just banked them and as such he was never negatively impacted by the stat increase side effect... Ah well, it's not relevant to the main story anyways since he's pretty much untouchable OP.
Anyways, really it's kinda sad, the saint is someone who seems like she'd actually be a devoted wife, but she's second fiddle to the broken menhera mess because the crazy girl is hotter and MC is addicted to sticking it in crazy.
Also cute of him to assume that she's puking up blood because she actually loves him deep inside, when her entire body and mind is currently in mind control mode forcing her to be a dearly loving wife and her puking blood at the thought of infidelity on his part might just be an extension of the order while the real her could still just be wanting to get out. Again, at this point I have no clue about the internal thoughts of the characters since I've not read the novel and have no real intent to go back and read the novel again.
Which to re-iterate what I stated last time, by the time she regains control, due to his stipulation that she loves him to the same equivalent as the mind controlled version of her, means that even when that occurs, nothing will have changed from this new status quo created. Hell, the mind controlled version could just lie to him and he would be none the wiser. It's not like he has any indication that the mind control is on or not, not from what I recall or not from what's been indicated now. But I'm sure the author might retcon that in just to give the MC awareness of when the crazy wife stops being crazy for power and instead just crazy in love or just make it blatantly obvious by just having it shown in her status screen that she's currently under orders.
Also, cutting an island is nothing. He cut across space to a hidden location. He cut concepts. He cut a skill connection which is how he became the master in the relationship quite literally. I wouldn't be surprised if he could cut his way back into Japan and live there if he wanted to by cutting a path between both worlds but he's just choosing not to. He is a literal god. It's just surprising he didn't choose to do something like cut his crazy wife's thoughts of betrayal since we have already confirmed he can cut metaphysical aspects like skills. But I'm sure there's some weird excuse as to why he can't do it that was noted in the novel somewhere, and if not it's because we know why. The author wanted this drama and circumstance.
