I think the fact that they still consider working with the chancellor stupid. The Chancellor forced them to become slaves, and manipulated the MC. The Chancellor has never done anything for them except when he learned that his life would be forfeit so obviously align yourself with a princess who has 4 guards that are close to your strength.

Also, it's not just the Chancellor that basically made them battle slaves. Even if it was the royals or another country, iirc, otherworlders are always "binded" in some ways to be weapons.

Anyway, I don't know if it's raws or mangasushi that take so long, but 4 months for a chapter are terrible. For a manga with only 9 (prev. 8) chapters, such a big gap between chapters completely kills any possibility of following the story. I mean, I even forgot there was a war going on...
