If the "no nonsense" tactical combat and realistic hero is what I like about this...
...the JP trope of "villain teleports away with no repercussions (so author can recycle villain)" is what I don't like.
There needs to be costs associated with engagements and withdrawals in combat.
Planning effort, time, resources are costly. To see zero repercussions from this is as bad as "it was all a dream" trope.
Like healing. Hero side needs a dedicated elven princess and representative of god. Villain, a simple priest can do same.
(And both have "holy weapons", in fact 2 vs 1. So if there is a power imbalance that needs to be explained. Or cost shown.)
If this was intended as a strike mission, there needs to be repercussions for the enemy for losing a general.
And/or a strategic hardpoint, and/or the evil artifact itself. There needs to be consequences.
But that's just my opinion. Really glad this arc was translated at once, props for that. I think there are 44ch in raw.
