if you make it hollow to siphon blood out you'll make it blunt on at least one angle to allow the hole to exist and you'll need a decently wide hole compared to the tip otherwise the blood will just end up clotting on the hole
Have you ever seen the shape and angle of the tip of a hypodermic/syringe needle? because you sound like you have never seen one or how they work.
lol you'd think at this point there'd be communication magic to understand the dogs/spiders, if them not being able to write or so if they're smart enough to understand them/do that quiz

and lol not the dogs removing their horns XD; but they can get pats on their back/belly too
At this stage, most manga/novel readers have realized that VC innately understands whatever the creatures around him say. Like this time one of the Kuros gesturing and the next few panels VC telling exactly the whole story he understood, same when the spiderlings wave around their legs and so on. Not something VC would guess so accurately at random every single time
including future creature residents, every single time VC can understand even very complex negotiations or petitions from them.

I don't really understand this chapter. Those wolves shed their horn every year. The villager chief should be very aware of the horn problem to patting them.

I suppose so tho i imagine he'd just leave it to the OG mom and dad one to take care of the day to day details or so tho at least they aren't as demanding as the fenrir from campfire cooking

You realize we're talking about a spear right? Where it needs have enough force to penetrate armor not just skin. I wouldn't be surprised if the hole made in the tip just gets bent and closed the moment the spear gets deflected in combat. You understand that syringes aren't used by random people but by medical professionals because not every part stabbed would be effective at draining blood right? Syringes work because the tip is so small. You make a tip like that on a spear it's going to break the moment the spear get jerked by whatever is on the other end and then the blood is going to clot around it because thats what blood does.

Do you know that criminals and law enforcement use the same principle to drop caltrops made from hollow tubes to puncture and deflate car tires nowadays? They even go back to WWII! and that's not just trained medical professionals on skin. And bet you'll say that's not armor!!! And I bet you've never tried to puncture a tire on the thread rubber and how hard it is even with a big good knife and I'm not talking about the thinner sidewalls. Here's an image of a tire deflating caltrop made from welded sections of hollow tube used by the USA in WWII, see how it's cut at an angle just like the tip of a small syringe needle but hundreds of times bigger and thicker?

Also this is not something that belongs on this forum or the normy web, but you can watch videos of hunters using hollow arrows/bolts made to hunt and bleed the animals to death, the bleeding doesn't stop as quickly from clotting as some people in this thread would think, the adrenaline, blood pressure and diameter of the tube keeps them bleeding till they die, the fastest I've seen is a deer keel over in 10 secs from the bleeding.

A caltrop doesn't puncture using the force of a thrust, it punctures using the weight of the object that moves over it, it's why the caltrop needs to so thick because it needs to be able to withstand the weight of whatever it punctures otherwise it bends or breaks. You're not dealing with the same concept when making a spear. How much thicker is a spearhead like gonna have to be to not break when it gets hit by something else at a different angle? The larger the radius of the siphon on the spearhead the more material you'll need to reinforce it. You know what would work better? Pulling the spear out and letting the blood just come out on its own and putting another hole in your target.

you're pretty set on your view of what's possible vs practical in the real world even against real world examples, even against what the manga in a fantasy setting would be achieved like exotic materials. So we're at impasse and really the discussion is moot when they can just Nuke their enemies.
