You know, you don't actually have introduce male characters if you're going to do it so half-assedly that the protagonist still has his mega horny, multi-racial super harem.

you know why harvest moon and rune factory are great game? because you made you have freedom deciding what to do with your own farm

this manga turns into those game but instead play by yourself, you watch youtuber play it

it's fucking boring now, i dont know how the heck the publisher still want to publish this series

Just think a little and you will realize that it is the same problems that sudden dewvelopment can cause in any city in the real world.

While having a second village isn't that terrible of an idea, they clearly aren't having any issues with space as it is, and the biggest limiting factor on space isn't living space for the people, it's the amount of farmland needed to support them. In this forest of death though it seems that what can grow is incredibly limited, unless it gets tilled by the all mighty farming tool. So the mc still has to go out and at least do the initial tilling of the land. Besides that, the forest isn't that safe of a place, as it seems that rather than normal animals, it's just filled with dangerous monsters, which would lead you to seeking to centralize your population as much as possible to protect against the danger. The only benefit here is to the women of the village, who are going to gain the advantage of remaining closer to the mc, without either having more competition for him, or other men that they aren't interesting in.

She made sure that her/their (the representatives; which was shown all girls) intention with the suggestion is to make the humans and demons to farm for the village (more manpower to help the chief in farming), while mc's intention is more to help him with the nightly activities lmao.
He should made it sure for them that his point is 'the village needs more men (to help him with their nightly activities)'.

Ehh there's not much of a good solution either way.

Humans and demons likely have some kind of conflict, so you cant have tbem live together all at once. We can probably see some development as conflicts arise and get resolved when they work together in the fields.

They do at the least need more workers. I feel like their fields have massively increased compared to how many can actually harvest, even with the spiders help.

This is ridiculous. It sounds like they are building a slave colony a suitable distance away, so as not to pollute the village air with the stench of the serfs.

I can see how it would look like that but they never said it would be just males in the village just that the humans and demons that were going to migrate would be put in the separate village first.
Though I also feel the "keep the harem alive" was likely the principal reason for that. Hope we are proven wrong with time.

@Kaarme It depends on your view point really. Leaving the rights on the land aside, that village is self sustainable and independet so doing busyness with others is focus more to mix their cusine rather than out of a an actual need for said products. Going back on the ownership of he land you might have notice that the villagers don't need to pay taxes for the right to live in the village this will likely be used to gather more manpower.

If you actually want to compare it to something it would be more accurate to say feudalism, as that's the model they have been using for most of the story.
Also they are talking about gathering rather than buying, the use of medals was likely refering as use them to make the peticion.
---------------------------

On a side note, there goes the actual use of medals. Something told me this would be the final outcome as the rules weren't exactly clear (hence why the beastgirls made such a crazy request, although to be honest it feels as if they are just going with the flow seeing the rest just wating to have kids)

It doesn't even make sense that they need men to do the farming work. You have Dragons, Lamia, Oni, Angels, and Vampires who are all stronger physically than Human males yet they can't do any farming. You also have Lizard men and Elves who should be just as strong as a human male yet they can't do the farming. He specifically says that he does all of the farming work himself because he is the only one with the AFT yet now he states he needs men because he needs help with the farming. That doesn't make sense at all. Plus if you don't have the resources to support more people coming into the current village, how are you going to support a completely separate village? Space shouldn't be an issue considering the farmland map from the previous chapter, there's still plenty of room to knock down trees for more living room. If food is the issue then having a second village isn't going to solve that problem. If he is worried about crime then his Angels and Lizard men should easily be able to handle anything normal humans try to do. So this entire chapter makes no sense.

MC wants more males not only for farming or to lessen his night duty but for the future generation. He's scared that all the next generation children will be siblings.

As soon as the economics and politics became harder it is showing clearly how the author has no idea how any of it works tbh. The medal system is stupid beyond belief when you can just do normal currency. And now this separate village thing sounds like a cheap plot-device so Taiju stays the same and small for narrative (and harem) purposes.

The main point of this series was seeing this grow little by little, but it reached a complexity point that unless fixed it will only lead into nonsense.

@givemersspls The main problem with bringing a large group of men to your village harem, is that they will be dissatisfied from watching your harem, and not having a harem of their own. On top of that, the women will have to put up with the advances of lesser men, lesser men that can't even one-shot a wyvern from a thousand meters, let alone frighten elder dragons.

@degenerateafro the women have been helping with the farming, since at least as far back as the discovery of the MC's wine, but the crops aren't as great, or fast growing, without the MC's power tool. If he tills the soil, and maybe occasionally tends the crops over there, it will still be way more productive than any other place's crop yield (excluding the MC's main village, where they have a harvest almost every month it seems).

@CountryMage I understand that, but in this chapter on Page 5 he states "The village needs more men. If we don't have anyone other than me who can do the farming job the village will be destroyed". So were they suppose to be two unrelated statement or were they implying that the men would be needed to take over his farming job. Because that part shouldn't be possible. If anything his children should be the ones who inherit his farming tool, but they aren't even brought up that often. It's hard to convey a story in 9 page chapters.
