Yeah, I like it too, but 15 pages every two months for 1 volume/6 chapters a year is rough.

I just went and looked at the light novel, which has 218 episodes/chapters divided in 6 arcs/books and the manga, at 5 (6 ongoing) volumes and 34 chapters, is still only at episode 40. The first arc ends at episode 43 and I guess that the plan is for this 6th volume of the manga to bring this first arc to an end. They always have 6 chapters per volume, so there are 2 chapters left in this volume to cover those last 4 episodes.

I don't quite know how many words there are in each episode of the light novel, nor how much content has been fitted into each volume to figure out how the pacing might feel different from the light novel to the manga but I'm guessing that trying to neatly fit the light novel chapters into a fixed 6 chapters/manga volume may impact the pacing. Pacing is just different when you use visuals.
