Not backhanded at all, at least in intent. I know some fat people. They literally can't see it, even attempting to shift fat mass out of the way. You know those jokes about people so fat they haven't seen it in years? Yeah, those people really exist, and they're frighteningly more common than you'd think, in North America, at least. So, yeah. We're over 40 chapters in a netori manga and the author switches from netori by the protagonist to one of the protagonist's 'love' interests being raped by ugly bastards. That's not what this manga was about.

I agree. Let alone this is sold as a Harem which is a given people wont like it. But there was a "reason" for it, which was a dumb one but you can see it as the author wanted to make something for the cucks as well but without going over the line... however making it the whole chapter kinda backfires, and the next chapters dosent make it better.

Why... Just like, why? And a whole chapter for it as well? Just...sigh.
It went from mc doing it to protect his friend from thots, then to advance his goals and what not while it was done to characters who most of the time "deserved" it.
But it just had to fall to the usual asian author path of wasting chapters, sometimes multiple of showing some irrelevant characters who get like 3 panels thru the whole series raping someone who didn't "by manga logic" "deserve" to get f'ed.
It went from somewhat entertaining to abhorrent in a chapter. Very disappointing.

What's funny tho, will be the series rating before and after this chapter. Love seeing idiotic decisions being rewarded with it's due.

I agree. Probably you have to see it from the perspective that the longer a story goes the more chances of thinks like this can happen because Japanese tend to be more cucks. If you follow up on the next chapters you will see how hard it tries to back paddle but damage is done and the "good" parts werent good either. On the other hand, the manga is not so liked in the east anyway so perhaps he wanted to bait other peoples into it with this drama, probably being it the typical UB-NTR with full on chapter.
