Or the changes are completely against that player’s personality. He also can’t change things like levels, stats or skill. It seems to not have as many limitations when dealing with the inhabitants or NPCs as the ruler will refer to them as. But so far he’s only done certain things in general: stop others from trying to harm him, make them obedient to him or basically make women have sex with him. He also can change his own status to change his appearance. Other times he just uses blackmail to control others if needed.

It’s been on indefinite hiatus since 2020, web novel only has 69 chapters. There is one light novel volume but that was released March 2019.

The most likely scenario I can come up with is the novel version wasn’t popular enough. It probably was better this way as the manga seems to be the more popular format for this story.
