It’s been on indefinite hiatus since 2020, web novel only has 69 chapters. There is one light novel volume but that was released March 2019.

The most likely scenario I can come up with is the novel version wasn’t popular enough. It probably was better this way as the manga seems to be the more popular format for this story.
