Hilarious, basically the girl was acting all edgy since she had the power to decide the life and death of the village. But then MC comes and was like Nope, not dealing with that crap.
Wish there were options like that in some RPG games.
Village Chief: "Hero, you need to go to the four corners of the world to gather the four elemental crystals to unlock the temple to get the holy sword to defeat the demon king."
Hero: "I don't want to." Goes to kill the demon king.

It's starting to look like the reason Ojisan didn't enjoy his Isekai that much was largely his own fault. Sure there's his face, but his response sure wasn't helping.

Appreciate the fact that he denied the ridiculously selfish girl though.

The joke is he doesnt like RPGs, so he just skipped the entire stupid ass quest that involved romancing the girl and just killed the dragon using action game skills.

He never claimed to be an RPG maniac, he was a sega fanboy overall, he even stated that he doesnt play RPGs in this chapter.

@Psychronia : he is likely somewhat at fault, but the constantly being attacked/lynched/etc for showing his face is likely much more of a factor. It is kind of hard for someone to get along with people who have tried to murder you.

At the same time the traits that would have caused him issues were likely the same traits that allowed him to survive and retain what sanity he had.

To be fair based on the rest of the world she would likely have immediately dumped him for someone else.

Go through a long quest to thaw her heart, gets sword goes off to kill dragon ot to come back to see her making out with the blacksmiths apprentice...

Or just go kill the dragon and move on to the next village of ungrateful violent xenophobic jerks.
