someone walks up to the stall, greet them, ask if they'd like to try it.
if they seem uninterested, tell them it's something different. pique their interest a bit, they're already there and curious.
That's when he makes small samples and have the cute forest girl walk around with the samples on a tray and let people try. No matter what it is as long as its free people will take it.
@tiessar
He can at least still make free samples so when people walk up smelling something nice he can ask them if they want to try a free sample to see if it suits their taste. Because standing there like a deer caught in the lights doesn't seem very effective. He always wanted his own restaurant didn't he? Then why don't he even know any of the basics of customer service?
@Akabane
just cause the Mc is cook, doesn't mean he knows everything about running a restaurant.
I live in NYC and I see quite a few newbie chefs and cooks start up a new business and fail miserably because they stupidly thought their cooking alone would be enough.
Oh I get that completely.
But I have seen only a few people actually put sufficient thought into it. I have seen a few restaurants who assumed their cooking alone and by using social media or spending thousands in advertising would be enough for a restaurant.
