So... the issue was that succubus needs vitality to live? But that was secretly because some associated merchant guild was giving them monetary issues and was a criminal guild? But now that they stopped that, the succubupodes (sucubusses? (yes I know the correct plural form of "succubus" is "octopii", but let me have my fun)) no longer need vitality to live, and thus have no reason to capture people to feed off of??

I think its more like the succupodes no longer have to continue to extort their "guests" in order to continue to pay devons extortions. That way they can tone ghe whole thing down meaning no more insane sex dungeons... unless theyre into that.
