When I first started reading this, I expected it would be just the author going all Samurai supremacy and Samurai are the best the whole time.
Now, it does have a LOT of Samurai glazing, but at the same time the writing, art and the choreography are fire.
In other words, I really like this series.

I’ve said similar stuff on previous chapters but I gotta keep saying it: i really like the self-indulgent feel of this manga. Feels like the author is just creating super cool characters and rightfully reveling in how cool they are, in a very skillful, furthest-thing-from-amateurish way. There’s just this feeling of affection for the characters that makes me think of fanfic stuff or just, like, favorite Original Characters of artists, but executed flawlessly. A good reminder to hold on to your passion instead of discarding it as childlike, or something. Let’s larp just this once forever

Ginko is already married to war, she can't be charmed, which brings me... page 7... I fell in love all over again, but I know her heart is already taken.

Oh, the pain.

She and Sangetsu have really hit it off XD.

He is probably the character that resembles Ginko's love of combat the most in this world, that isn't a demon.

It's also very child book coded, which is nice 🙂
