The Old Guy was pretty chill but I was assuming that all the murders would be considered Self Defense or something akin to it but it turns out it's Isekai Diplomatic Immunity instead which is funnier

A reasonable law but at the same time, a really bad one.
1. Murderers only see it as a "Challenge accepted", to improve their killing method of covering their murder as accident, suicide or frame the wrong person.
2. What if the "bigger threat" is gone? Will they change the law or they...keep upholding it by making a "bigger threat"? (99% it will be the latter because it's "easier" and they already "get used to" the law, it's the human nature)

I take it there have never been any civil wars in this world, then. Humans vs. Humans in large scale conflict is a concept completely foreign to them. The Elf seems to have other ideas though.
