So this is like River Song in Doctor Who where they meet at random points in time, only in this case the first time they met was the first time for both of them. Clearly she is married to him given the ring that looks like one from our world especially with no tradition of giving rings in Mu/Kyara's world. That means she has married him in her past but his future. The diary being called a curse is because he can only experience linearly to himself, so events may be unavoidable and he can only observe and interact without actually changing major events.

I knew that I didn't care for deception tropes, but today I learned how much it weirdly affected me. When I saw the update, I actually felt my heart sink, which is not typically a reaction you want to a series you like. So, that was interesting.

As for the chapter itself, I'm glad they showed he at least pieced part of it together, himself. If he couldn't figure it that was Kyara, the claims of being "typical dense mc" would've been completely valid. I'm intrigued where this coworker thing is going and if she's getting dragged along, somehow.

I’m liking this manga but I’m still cautiously skeptical about if it’ll get too convoluted and annoying about the time travel aspect.

I don’t really want to see him endlessly travel in time and never get to build up deeper relationships / get much done.

I think the only real solution should time always be massively shuffled is him staying there for a long period of time, but they’ve already established that he ages there iirc so I think he’s scared to as it will end up ruining his life in his own world in the long term should he go too often or for too long.

I hope they have some solution to that and have him make some real development / change in I the other world rather then just short meetings with random people.

Just personal preference but I also really hope he goes to a larger town, they’ve not really showed anything of the other world other then forest atm and the small village and it’s been making me curious how developed the world is, if at all.

It’s also curious that he’s met with the cat girl twice actually, seems very unlikely if it’s always a random spot, perhaps he always is in xyz radius (seems a bit unlikely due to the desert, as it was large), otherwise maybe he’s connected to the people he happens to spawn near and they’re all people he will sometimes have a chance to return to? (If that’s the case I hope they explain it as the random chance thing seems flimsy)

Really looking forward to when TL catches up with volume 4/5 as I want to see others travel with him, I think that will also make the manga less random for me as then there are people he can stay on the same time period with. If he’s not the only one who’s able to cross worlds does that mean people from the other world can come back with him? (Risky as they’d not return to the same time ig though? Maybe if he adopted a kid or something that doesn’t have family it would be fine but otherwise I don’t think anyone would really want to go back with him if the cat girl didn’t)

Edit: read ahead to catch up with raws and aaaaa it gets so good, many of my worries weren’t as bad as I thought, look forward to the upcoming chapters they’re great <3

He'll go to actual towns/Cities and travel more, he'll even get involved with bandits or mercs and stuff like that.
It seems that outside of dealing with Blue Hair loli's village and their being targeted by kidnappers, he doesn't really do much of importance or bother people in the other world outside of simple tourism(although I can't read Japanese to confirm it).
He mostly ends up focused on self-growth and the office ladies.

That's the fear I expressed in the previous chapter, the only viable option seems to be to pick one of the worlds forfeiting the other and stay there if he wants to build any kind of stable life.
