One chapter... pacing already this bad? Ah harem slop, making even stupid people... entertained, wait, that can't be the right word, pacified? That feels better, a bouncing ball can "entertain" the people who read this.

Idk why but I feel like I remembering reading this exact manga years ago. Could it have been redrawn by a different artist?

Early judgement call, it’s ight, not good but not terrible. Give it like 3 months to get 10 chapters out (lmao) and hopefully all is well by then.

I will never understand this "executing the strongest person" troupe.
He's the strongest. How would he ever be executed?
If humanity have the power to execute him, clearly, he either wasn't the strongest or the author can't write.
He's a summoner, not a magician. Primitive people fear power, especially when they don't come from nobility.

Idk I have never hated these kinds of manga. I like it when the mc is half depressed and half ambitious

A summoner who can save the world have very powerful summoned creatures, they could easily be a deterrent to anyone who harbors malicious thoughts against him, and guard him against anyone who dares cause him harm.
You don't need to fly in the sky or shoot magic missiles to be powerful, just a giant wolf by your side, or whatever creatures he can summon, should be more than enough to protect him.
This is just another case of an author intentionally not using the protagonist's powers so a flawed plot can continue

I understand why things end up like this, it's obvious...
NO IT'S NOT!

Why do Japanese authors believe it's logical to kill a summoned hero who faithfully fought for you? One fool invented this dumb trope, and the others are blindly copying his homework without even pausing to think if it makes sense or not. I'm so angry!

The hero is basically the ruling class's loyal lapdog and a guardian at this point. He is strengthening their reign by proxy, through the sole fact that he was summoned by them. Roping him in scores them great points; he is also a walking deterrent against their enemies. All a foolish hero who ends up backstabbed in these stories needs to be placated is some mediocre territory and a handsome pension until he dies. The benefits of having him around FAR OUTWEIGH the small chance of him turning against his owners.

On the other hand, killing him would be insanely difficult to justify to the masses. It's also not easy to kill him because, as a hero, he is supposedly OP, and is probably not stupid enough to just obediently die when asked!

Writers need to understand that in the eyes of the ruling class, a placated hero is no bigger threat than a random assassin. As long as he doesn't get all political and power-hungry, there is no point in killing him whatsoever - only numerous dangerous, uncontrollable risks. And not killing him is very profitable. If I were the ruling class, I would placate the hero with women and money and pray he doesn't die for the next 50 years, because that's 50 years of stability and prosperity. If you play your cards well, it could mean expanding your territory and ushering in a golden age.

so, a few chapters in
i think the route author is going for, is that after MC was executed, his summons went on a rampage and the world MC was in, basically is now destoryed
at least the country is
and all the summons are now somewhere bewteen 10% and 100% yandere
cool, not as generic as i thought itd be

i say the same shit like how is he overpowered by the people if a whole as army couldnt take beat the demon lord a small group of adventures are able to get into the demon lord castle witch would be once of the strongest most heavily guarded areas, fight their way though and beat the demon lord ( note they gotta be tired after all that fightting witch had to be hours of fightting) and they come back and bum ass people are able to beat them, and execute them like what no way in hell i would allow that to happen to me.

any hero should be a multi army threat aint no way some bums would able to take out a hero or hero party

This all of this. also its never or very rarely explained how they even managed to capture him, your telling me some bum ass town gaurds where able to capture the hero WHEN LITTERAL SCORES OF DEMONS COULDNT and this doesnt go for bum ass town gaurds jsut any gaurds like royal gaurds and the likes are able to capture the hero.
not only that they are also battle harden from haven to fight though litteral hell so sneaking up on them is a no go or them having their defenses lowered the moment someone makes the wrong move they are in immediate battle mode i swear the whole betrayed by the kingdom makes no sense logically as anyone in power would know how much of a strategic asset the hero would be more so since the hero is normally blessed by the god/goddesses of their world meaning killing the hero would be an absolute upfront to their deties and no church no mater how corrupt would allow that to happen

Killing a hero is not impossible on a purely technical level. You could blackmail him, take a comrade hostage, or exploit some other weakness or 'kryptonite'. Furthermore, killing a hero can be beneficial - eliminating the hero of an enemy country, for example.

The problem is that lazy Japanese authors never think that deeply. They never analyze their simplistic tropes, and they never explore the possibilities. They show no concern for maintaining suspension of disbelief, and they never improve, and I don't know why. Maybe because they never receive much-needed criticism, especially from professional writers. Light novels are called 'light' for a reason, I guess.
