This lacks the adaptation tag, this is based on a light novel (2 volumes so far).

I wonder if the author will actually stick to that evaluation. I'm betting he either:
  1. Finds a way to expand the number of spells he can learn.
Either with the help of the "chickens" or his poison immunity. Or both... the chickens could pick some plant for him that would normally be be deadly poisonous for anyone else.

  2. The priest saw he could learn "002" spells.
Meaning there's a 3-digit limit on the appraisal ability, and MC can learn "over 1,000" spells. It might only be 1,002... or it could be 1,000,000,000,000,002 spells.

Maybe it could be his blessing. Since its exact nature isnt specified, there is still some room for manipulation. Maybe his base self can only learn 2 spells. But his blessing is actually something more like "extreme adaptation" rather than "abnormal status immunity". He is just immune due to his body having adapted to the ailment. It could mean that he can further adapt to use other spells later on too.

The storage box for example, is seemingly a cockatrice's inherent spell, which he has been adapted to use. It hasnt taken up his spell slot though. It could also be why only he can hear them speaking. He has adapted to hear them.

I took that as his own hypothesis, not his actually ability list, since that is the first time constitution has even been mentioned in the series.

Could be neither and he doesnt get spells anymore, but since he can talk to and understand animals/monsters he gathers many blessings from the monsters he meets on his journey. the art on the front cover implies at least a blue tiger and another bird.

Then theres the pokemon aspect to consider. his monsters will clearly fight for him. maybe he helps them train or grow without fighting. I hope he doesnt get any spells anyway, they arent really needed.

Sticking with that evaluation would severely hamper the MC's growth and usually authors trying this stuff drop it for a reason.
