if not then them not having fixes for that "strange" disease which will probably be methane or co2 poisoning is beyond ridiculous

i mean i could also bitch about the coke but discovering that depends on opportunity and necessity so having not discovered it in a magical fantasy world is not inexcusable

but coal miners encounter gas poisoning all the time and will thus search for ways to counter it, so them needing the isekai'ed mc to save the day is pretty much unbelievable

only other excuse i would accept would be that they only did pit mining till now even if that would be like dragging it out by the short hairs

For world with magic, I doubt there are many co2 poisoning or toxic gas. Magic Overload might be the one.

The ambient magic is too much when miners spend little to no magic digging. Like you keep charging your phone when it's full, your battery might be ballooning.

That magic wand takes 200MP to activate plus MP needed to cast. That is inefficient as fuck. Good thing our MC is walking MP generator.

The moment he casting and getting hit at the same time probably going to be a crit since his armor also uses his MP.

The coke thing is very weird to me, if they knew how to make charcoal then surely someone would have tried it with mineral coal. I could maybe understand tempering not being known in a small town when steel is a recent invention, but for a big town where they make charcoal on industrial levels it's quite weird to not have discovered coke, it gives the image of people with 0 curiosity who think everything has been discovered already and there is no sense in exploring other options.
