This is just... sad. And I don't mean I'm sad about MC losing his parents, I'm sad the story sucked so bad they had to kill off the parents to achieve... ?????????? I dunno. I'm not smart enough to put my thoughts and emotions into physical words. I just know I'm utterly disappointed with this.

Nope I just can't care anymore. There was zero reason for them to all die. Hell there was barely any reason for even one to die which would likely have been the father.
"Oh my god tier recovery magic suddenly doesn't work when it god damn matters!" This was an absolute ass pull of the highest order.
The idea that not only the mom but also the grandpa couldn't use magic to deflect that breath attack is absolutely stupefying beyond belief.
The author had to bludgeon them to death with the nerf bat to pull this ass pull and I just can't deal with it.
I had hopes for the art style but the author completely and utterly failed to match their story telling ability to it's interest.
This story didn't need the parent's much less the grandpa to die. The author just wanted to kill them for shits and giggles. Plain and simple.

That was so fucking dumb ZERO reason & need for all of them to die. The only one who should have died was the father, the other two were perfectly fine and could have escaped with him easily

needa second many comments on here. the father was likely to die due to the wounds, but the other two could have evaded fine with our MC. this is a very lazy plot design choice and even if it was intended for them to die, the author and artist could have executed it better by making his family actually offering their lives actively to let the boy survive instead of this method. i just hope the series won't make this a common plot device.

those stats are fucking useless if he cant even save his family from an undead dragon, and I was actually looking forward to the tides going upward, plot-armor or not

now that i think about it, this is the opposite of a plot-armor, like such strong powers and then he wasn't able to protect them

the fuck, that was pointless, this dude got OP stats for nothing? the dad was as good as dead and mc couldnt have saved him cuz it happened before he realized it, but mc and his mom and grandfather could been perfectly fine
