As they say "stupidity is a more dangerous enemy of the good than malice."(had to look for this one, i´m the dangerous type). In the end he was so monumentally stupid and self-depreciating, that he ruined everything big time.

Also, slave acquired!, regardless of gender, if you go to another world you are owed a slave or two (or 20, depending of the tagging)... i would feel so ripped off if i don´t get at least a maid if the truck takes me (yeah yeah slavery is bad and i´m against it... but come on!, i can at least feel bad no?).

You won't be getting any push back from me over Adonis fate.

He is disgraced, stripped of his title, put in prison, and will probably be executed for losing royal treasure. He found out his second wife never actually loved him, while he abandoned his first wife and child. Adonis may have meant well, but that doesn't excuse abandoning the people that actually cared about him, as well as, letting his second family abuse and torture his own daughter.

He is getting everything that he deserves.

Technically we saw this slave back in ch2. Guess he ran away and given that this is a murder forest, it’s not surprising that the slave traders didn’t follow

I would assume it operates more like a detector for things that are conscious, or she could have detected him at the limit of her range.

I mean, if you think about it with the purest of technicalities, the daughter IS quite dead. Her body is being puppeted by this reincarnator, who took over piloting just as the original was about to die. Sure, the reincarnator has access to the original's memories, but it still doesn't change the fact that the original girl is gone.
