To give her father some credit, he did try rather hard to avoid getting into a relationship with her mother knowing he couldn't handle it. But then he went and succumbed to the heavy pressure to get into a relationship with her and put no effort into making it a good one.

It doesn't matter if Aria's past life memories were locked if she didn't know about them in the first place. Since Aria grew up independently without those memories, this means Aria was a completely different person when she was born up to when she got her memories from her first life. Having Aria develop her own unique and independent identity is the whole reason why that god held back giving her memories and powers in the first place.

Aria Erandal before 10 years old was just Aria Erandal. Aria Erandal at 10 years old is the combination of Aria Erandal and Nagisa Kudou. Aria Erandal is a young girl, while Nagisa Kudou was a young woman. Two completely different people with two completely different experiences that merged into one person.
And that's your opinion, one not supported by the story. Otherwise she would be calling herself Nahisa in the privacy of her own thoughts. Instead it's just Aria.

Thanks for the chapters! This is surprisingly interesting. Although I keep thinking about “The Otome Heroine's Fight for Survival“ whenever they say the name Aria. This Aria so far is a little kinder in her revenge (or at least less bloody).

If I mix sugar into a glass of pure water, is it still pure water? They both look the same and pour out the cup the same, but are they actually still the same water?

Using your logic: they are both the same because they are both water. It doesn't matter that something is mixed into the previously pure water. They are both the same, regardless of how much sugar is put into it.

I would say the water is now different, but hey... that's just my opinion.

And by your logic new memories kills off the old you. So the contents becomes irrelevant.

I clarified and emphasized many times before, in my many replies to you, that my stance is that Aria is not literally dead but Aria before age 10 is a different person from the current Aria. And since current Aria is different, she is not the same person. But nice of you to conveniently ignore everything I've said in this thread, and twist my words to suit your needs.

Really now?
I mean, if you think about it with the purest of technicalities, the daughter IS quite dead. Her body is being puppeted by this reincarnator, who took over piloting just as the original was about to die. Sure, the reincarnator has access to the original's memories, but it still doesn't change the fact that the original girl is gone.
Its's the same soul, with the same trauma and memories of what she endured all her life, but this is technically correct. The young innocent Aria is in fact completely dead and gone.
Because that sure looks like you're of the opinion that the additional memories killed the old Aria then and there.

And I reject that opinion. They were always her memories from birth, not something that was added after the fact.

You take my original post and completely ignore everything else that I have said in my replies, thus twisting the actual meaning of everything I have said thus far. You know exactly what I meant my in replies to you. Or do I actually have to post the definitions for "Clarified", "Emphasized", and "Replies" to you?

My claim is that Aria's previous life's memories and experiences fundamentally change who she is now, as a person, to the point that she is effectively a different person. Your claim is those things do not.

I used an analogy to explain my position, and used your "Train of Though" establish in your arguments, thus far, to its logical conclusion - to point out the flaw in your argument. Yet, instead of countering me, you completely ignore everything I have stated here to dig up something you can use to twist in your favor.

I'm sure that you are just as tired of this discussion as much as I am, but I have always argued in good faith, and tried to use reason and logic in my replies. Since you now seem incapable of having an honest discussion, there is no point in continuing this any further.

Except you made very specific statements and then above claimed you didn't. True you have since made addition statements to "clarify" your position, but did so without a retracting any of the previous assertations. So forgive me if I emphasize your earlier replies that blatantly contradict your own current position.

And to me the change is irrelevant. As is the fact that the knowledge from her previous life alters her personality. She is and always has been the same person. One personality didn't die, so the new one could take hold.

So because I don't engage in your inaccurate narrative my arguments become invalid... cool story m8, I'm sure you'll be great in debate club...

Not really no. True you're annoying, but I only reply when I've got nothing better to do. So do go on about how she isn't who she was just because of a few additional memories.

Except that original reply was in reply to someone else's comment. And that person obviously meant the old Aria was dead metaphorically. Otherwise that person would not have used the term "technically". If you really old enough to have grandchildren, you should already know what "technically" means.

This is a debate. I put forth my arguments, then you give your own arguments to counter mine.

But continue to ignore, twist, and deflect. It is practically the same as admitting that you have no counter to what I said, but you do not like my conclusion, so you will ignore it and bring up something else.

You know what, do not bother. I'm done with this.

Which you agreed with and reiterated with your own supporting opinion... and now failing to form a compelling argument for why that contradiction doesn't invalidate your reasoning, you resort to attacking my intelligence and ability to comprehend simple terminology.
This is a debate. I put forth my arguments, then you give your own arguments to counter mine.
You stated opinions, quoted comment similar to your own, and have since done little to advance your arguments except regurgitate them and insult anyone who disagreed.

Forgive me if poking holes in your flawed arguments and directly quoting your own contradictory statements is seen as twisting your words, and deflecting from what you see as the "real topic". It isn't, but I guess taken with your other opinions does show the limits of your communication skills.
You know what, do not bother. I'm done with this.
Odd, I could have sworn you said much the same in other comments, yet here we are... Then again, I am getting up there in years and might just be going senile.

I really hope MC never meets these triple baka nobles, I want her to be free and live her life in vacation mode on the beach like she dreamed 🙏
Unfortunately it seems like story setting up the prince for her which is something i hate in these stories because it feels unearned. They have already set up the age gap being normal with the father and mother.

Are we even reading the same manga? She was reincarnated thrue natural child birth with her otherworldly memories lock till the age of ten. She was born with them.

God didn't insert her into a fresh corpse for her to take over, he just did her a solid to avoid the awkwardness of being a mature mind in a newborn body. God even informed her of this before being conceived on this world.

So no, I fully reject your assertation that the additional otherworldly memories effectively killed the old Aria. They were always part of her, and always intended to be released when she reached age ten.

You are free to keep your opinion, even if objectively wrong. But that doesn't change the facts that are presented in the story thus far.
You are entirely correct but mangaka is the one who fucked up in that regard in the earlier chapters. FMC kept referring to her younger self as a separate entity for some weird reason which is ridiculous in the context of her reincarnation. It's a plot hole written into the story.

She is acting like a body snatcher with her pre-reincarnation ego completely replacing her current one which she should have kept as well. According to god, she should just have her previous experiences unlocked and it was suppose to be fusing not overwriting. She should have been able to naturally fused two together in her mind (that is the whole point of waiting till she was 10). Author kinda lost the plot on that after the introduction chapter.

Page 21 top right is "あれ ローズマリーじゃない" -> Isn't that rosemary?, left is "ワォーター カッター" -> Water Cutter!!"

Page 22 is "ホーンラビトはけっこう淡白ね” -> "The horned rabbit is mild" and "コッコと鳥はすごくジューシー" -> "The chicken is very juicy" .

LLMs are cool but it does make me wonder what else mistranslated but sounds right.

Loved his wife (that he knew since she was a kid wtf) so much that he went to a brothel instead, loved his daughter so much that he didnt even know if shes alive for years, what a LOAD of crap.
We already saw his true nature when he refused to confront the foreign slavers in his territory.
I PRAY he doesnt get away with this and stays rotting in the dungeon.

yes and no, from what god said she only regained her memories at 10 years old because this was the way for her to live a normal childhood, well i that guess not even god knows the future... so tecnically she was always Aria but yes she is kind of a different person now, but it is still her

this father is so dumb that no matter how much he regrets it is impossible to forgive him, if he wanted to stay away the minimum he should have done was protect them as a shadow, but he didn't even have basic informations that every servant in the house had
