@HuevoPodrigo I didn't intend to make that sound so much like you guys were blaming anyone, really. Perhaps I came off slightly confrontational without meaning to. Just meant to express what my experience has been with observing that whole deal over the years being a reader. Like, a LOT of mangakas I've read stuff by are the Japanese version of all those people getting kanji tattoos, basically. They don't actually know the language but find it cool so try to use it and then drop the ball.
As for how this happened here honestly, it could've been as simple as a typo sort of situation at the translation end, I suppose. I remember finding a spelling error in an English text book when I was in school. I remember it as a specific point in time where my little kid brain suddenly became aware that even adults just mess up sometimes. I mean, here was a book that exists for the sole purpose of telling you the correct ways to spell words and write sentences, with a spelling and/or grammar error right there. It was probably put through a ton of editing sessions and proof reading, but there it was nonetheless. An error in the book about not making them.
