"From now on, the imperial capital church has NOW plans to harm you further in any way whatsoever"
Surely you meant NO, right?

Did they skip when Falma went to her place to "exorcise her?" I guess they either changed that bit from the novel or just skipped it entirely.

I know this might sound weird considering I'm always complaining about isekai stories portraying priests as crazy pscyho-rapists, but I fell like this guy was way too willing to change his opinion.

Maybe I'm missing something (I haven't read this in a while) but the guy has spent his whole life as a priest being taught the Church's teachings and believing in God and yet after knowing the MC for a pretty short time and seeing a single person who claims she was cured of the "evil spirits" who plagued her, he 100% trusts the MC when he tells him the Church was wrong and medicine was the true answer and insatly claims that all the tortures, burning, etc were mistakes, despite having very little proof other than the Baroness and MC's word.

I mean, I would complain if he lost his shit and claimed the MC was a witch and should die too, but this seems weird to me.

@Acolytus
He is sure the MC is a God incarnated so it stands to logic he is not believing in it because of some well minded reason but because God is telling him so.

@Acolytus to be fair seeing how devoted them priest guys are, and seeing the evidence of MC's divine or godlyhood powers its not a bad thing he isnt doubting the MC's word, basically treating him like a god now, although i do get you most religious characters always seem on their lord and saviors cock about everything until someone claims to disprove of said god and you know how it goes. tbh it is a lil far fetched he believed the whole thing with that "possessed patient" but it was good he understood all the wrong he's done

so many beauties around the MC and that possessed patient is oooooooooooo my fave so far just behind the empress

To me it's weird that this is taken as the only course. In a world with what's pretty much magic it's entirely possible some people were affected by curses or magical malfunctions of their abilities.
Why is he trying to claim that all were just normal illnesses?

Authors of modern isekai almost always make this mistake when trying to have the MC have all the answers. The thing about it is that if he really has the powers of a medicine God it should also be possible for him to fix those magical problems or is his magic just there so he can claim to be OP?

well to be fair, in that world according to the info we got, of all the cases of evil spirit possesions, 80% are probably true, while 12% are actual medical problems, and about 7% would be caused by failed spells or curses.

Since the church can exorcise the demons its safe to assume that they can heal the body of anything magical, leaving the cases of medical problems, since they couldnt do anything about those they fucked up and killed them.

Aww, she was super cute. Wonder if there are story arcs about having decided she was cured and stop taking her meds like most of the bi-polars I meet. Fun times.

So the name went from "Falma" to "Faruma", I know it's always a tricky thing translating that sound into English but isn't the name probably "Pharma"?
