It's comicplus that changed to comicdom. I'm assuming they are abandoning comicdom now to shadowscans so people send money thinking it's some other new group that needs money. Comicdom feels like a scam to me tbh.

I mean there are alot of groups that do this just not outwardly. I'm reading for free so I dont give a feck nor will most. Its pirated material so morals went out the window yesteryear.

I'm not saying it out of a sense of moral superiority, it's purely practical.

By paying for this service, you encourage it to spread further and multiply, as the group seeing success will have reason to continue and people seeing it succeed will have the idea to copy it. This might be fine if it was simply "I'll translate whatever you want for x money", but that's not what this group does. This group actively seeks out popular series and camps on them, saying they'll do more if you pay. This dissuades others from translating the series as they see the release and think a group has picked it up.

Additionally, the group has no respect for personal boundaries with your information. There are multiple reports of people's emails and connected accounts being spammed with requests for more donations after donating once. You are nothing but money to them.

Finally, the quality simply isn't there. Take the 6 chapters they put out today for instance: they are slapdash put together machine translations with no qc and barely any redraw. Characters names aren't kept consistent, in these 6 alone Elena is referred to as Elena, Ellen, and Helena. Wrong tense is used frequently, and some words are just explicitly wrong.

Support trash and trash is all you will see.
