Yes and no. He had lots of sex with all the girls, but IIRC he just let all the students in the other group die on their own.

So as mentioned above, the story has changed a lot. (And at least they show scenes of "here there be sexy times" before walking back on them, as opposed to other adaptations where they just gloss over them so completely that you don't even get told that there might have been some.)
