This thread blew up and got more serious than I thought. At least it was entertaining to read while I was on my break at work.
I didn't know Rapeman was so infamous that MD has to remove his credit page. Too bad I missed the drama last year. I do recall seeing some questionable credit page back when I was still reading at kissmanga, before I started getting into translating manga. Might have been from one of his or Kulio's. Or might just be someone else doing the similar trolling.

I'll always side with those who actually provide scanlation for others.

how many people are providing free scanlations to the masses? They are likely only in the hundreds, active to varying degrees.

Just because someone translates a manga and post it for everyone can read doesn't elevate them into superior status. Doing something good doesn't grant you a free get-out-of-jail pass. That's like saying your boss should be free to abuse the hell out of you to his pleasure because he pays you.
Some of these translators are very talented, but they can also be incredibly immature. Given how politics had become a new sex toy for these young people, it's not surprising that we'll see more political contents being injected into things that have zero political elements at all. That's just juvenile and stupid. We'll just have to hope people wise up and have more common sense in what they post. If they cross the line of what should be acceptable, warn them before punishing them. You don't want to attract the bad crowd.
From what I can see, it seems the staff has been very lenient on what contents are posted. Otherwise, whoever translated Pumpkin Night would have gotten the ban hammer already.

Until the guy in question does or says something stupid, his username alone won't be enough to cause him trouble. I took a look at some of his recent uploads, and found nothing outrageous as the other cases. So he's safe. For now. It might just be a troll username, after all. The real question is: where is he now? He surely must know there's thread about his name and people are talking about him. No idea why he stays silent this whole time. Maybe dude is enjoying all this commotion while munching on some popcorn.

I get to be "National_Socialist _German_Workers_Party" or NAZI in short because it would be a political statement.

@Eonlars Not everyone understands German politics, so even if you called yourself a whatever party, most wouldn't care at all.
I might be numbed from playing too much CS GO, but these names are nothing after seeing "The Great Leader Kim Jong Un" or "Hillary's True Form" in that game. I'm not saying that MD should have zero rules at all. But personally, these aren't super offensive to me yet. But if you take a step further and promote anything hateful or incite violent, you deserve whatever is coming.

If "BurnTheWops Scans" stays faithful to the original chapter, they're fine in my book. If they're open about when they release and have informative translation notes in the credit pages next to pictures of charred burgers, they might even have my respect. If their attention-whoring in the comment section gets them banned, that's the admins' right.

But every time "Wholesome_apolitical_puppy_farts Group" posts some shitty "T/N: Oh no she didn't fam! " in the margin, a Geneva Convention article is being breached. Keep that shit for the comments or the credits page.

I wouldn’t say main type of person you can find on 4chan but certainly a loud vocal group... he’s a great translator.. but he is however disingenuous regarding his outward persona claiming he just does political memes for effect.. if this was so.. where is one single anti right wing meme?

Regarding the stop_( snip) guy it’s not an end credit you can skip or roll your eyes at, it’s every page, sometimes multiple times. it certainly feels political, more so then Chillock or Rapemans memes that you can largely skip ( save for the Chillocks British translation of call girl of the dead .. which he honestly should have been asked politely to change)

I don't think those are moral equivalents.

One's clearly implying the condoning of the deaths of people of an entire race whereas the other is merely being critical of a subset of an ideology which is political or wishes to propagate itself in the institutions. One is pretty much outright support for the idea of an entire of subset of people dying whilst the other-even taken as uncharitably as possible-can only be said to be critical of religion that wishes to politicize, which is no crime in and of itself.

(Note that by saying "wishing to politicize" I'm not referring to all Muslims in the West, but instead I'm referring to Islamists or those who wish to integrate Islamic law into the Western Law. This is a very specific subset.)

Whether you agree with the latter statement or not, the group is not condoning violence nor anything else. If they do and they make such a claim known, that would be in violation of the terms and conditions.

As it stands, it would be closer to naming yourself "Antifa" or the like. It's not in violation of the rules and you're free to do it until it starts to interfere with your ability to scanlate manga or if you insert your own political biases into the scanlation.

But if humanity has free will, of course this is bound to happen. So long as entropy exists, people die. Why would a higher being need to save a human that's going to die anyways? Imagine if humans were immortal. That would be pretty cool, but not practical.
He's not unreasonable for sending you to hell, you just failed to live up to his standards. Simple as that. Not sure why you think that's unreasonable. If you were god, I'm sure you'd have your own standards for who gets into heaven and hell. Yours would also probably seem unreasonable to some people. Doesn't mean it is.
