I personally wouldn't mind holding the suspense for a little while longer to tell the story from the MML POV and how he copes and stuff, then switch when FML finally manages to make contact.

With how unethical and manipulative the agency has been shown to behave, I wouldn't be surprised if they are practically holding FML in confinement through packed schedules, idol camps, managed communications, etc. in the name of helping her chase her dreams. And they'll just pepper in some your husband sends his encouragement yada yada or got you this bouquet keep it up etc.

I'm glad he knows his wife enough to not believe the fake letter, but yeah, what's stopping HER from contacting him? Did the agency also lie to the wife saying her husband is busy or what?
