Meh. I wish the author would just draw them as a future couple. Not really fond of this father-daughter shtick since she's pretty much the only female around and clearly doesn't feel like he's a father figure to her. It'd be one thing if she felt that he was a father to her, but she doesn't. Should just decide already so that the readers can keep on reading while being comfortable about knowing whether or not they will be a permanent father-daughter combo or just the cliché non-family adult(who thinks of the girl as something of a daughter)+young girl(who is truly planning on marrying him and likes him as someone of the other sex) thing that is so damn commonly seen.
I don't dislike father-daughter slice of lifes, but then it needs to be made clear from the start and the author needs to avoid portraying them in a romantic light every now and then. The author already failed in that regard so I would just be uncomfortable if it turned out that they'll never get together even after Noah grows up, the author has already presented that possibility, then it should be taken, otherwise the entire story will feel kind of empty.
The only issue here is that he's 35 years old. By the time she's around 20, he'd be closing in on 50... If they had longer lifespans, that wouldn't have been an issue, but that's not the case here. Maybe she'll grow into an adult overnight since someone seems to be sealed inside her and her race seems to be capable of simple shapeshifting? Since she's supposedly very powerful, perhaps she can do something more major. Maybe she can also turn him young again or lengthen their lifespans. Who knows, so much can happen in a world of magic.
It doesn't really change the story much, but I'm truly hoping for romance between them, even if it's the slight japanese type which never blooms for real until the last few chapters. I'll just keep on reading and enjoy this story.
Well, checked the images for the last chapters in raw and couldn't be bothered to read it, but it seems to me that a bunch of crappy and unnecessary drama happens at the end and the answer to whether or not they'll get together is unanswered even after the end of the story. Might just as well skip the entire drama scene/battle stuff. I don't feel like I want to end a manga like this with that kind of shit, just let it end when it's still funny with a good feel to it.
