Sensei's not really wrong here. The problem stems from the fact that their relationship was probably based mostly on sex and Meguro's own mental issues. His advice pretty much boils down to, don't kink shame your partner and you're probably going to love more than one person during your lifetime. It's just a shame that Sensei didn't "love" her nearly as much has he should have are even as much as she loved him.
