That’s...a lot, coming from Meguro. In the flashback with her teacher we never seen her be really sad about the separation (or something like that), so the fact that here she has some reaction -even taking him in a different place without anything precise in mind- it’s a good developement.

I know that someday in this manga there will be a massive drama (probably teacher coming back), but I don’t think it’s necessary. It’s really good as it is, looking at the MCs growing while being together.
No, wait...because they are together.

That's the good fluff. This might be the most healthy teen relationship in manga. Meguro seems to be totally overcoming her self image problems, while Koga has matured and overcome his self esteem issues.

@emMeBi86 It's because the teacher brainwashed her into thinking that it's normal to go around loving multiple people, break up when it's convenient, not want to stay with a single person, or wish for the other person not to suddenly go for someone else. The teacher kind of shattered the meaning of love in her mind.

Some readers are dreading the return of the teacher, but I feel like a bigger danger is Meguro falling in love with Koga for real, but she can't handle that feeling and will immediately push Koga away for good, to avoid handling what she can't handle.

@Karman19 Yes, they are high school third years. Don't worry, that line isn't telegraphing some nefarious development.
Also, this is their culture fest, so it's likely already October in-Universe. They probably have exams near too. It's a super busy time for students, which is one of the reasons why a lot of manga have this whole "Let's put our best foot out there for our last fest!" moment: it's normally the last school event they get to do in earnest before they get swamped with exams and it becomes harder to meet up with friends and classmates.
