His grandma was a native of that world and moved to Earth, she was a great mage too so I assume she had some impact on that world.

what a waste of 10 gold + however much she pocketed after. She clearly sucks at keeping that place running and a lot of the adventurers in there are so rowdy, they scare off clients, they even roughed one up...
