I can't wait for these sisters to be gone. If I was given an exact date for when the last chapter of this arc with them is uploaded here, I would be counting the days until that moment. How an author is capable of writing such infuriating characters seemingly by accident is a mystery of cosmic proportion to me. Not only that, but how it happens so often is even stranger.
Manga, especially fantasy and/or romance manga, just seem have an unusually high number of such irritating, selfish, unpunishable characters.

Thanks for the chapter, I need to go cool my head with a manga that embodies the acronym "CBT" a little less.

Haven't read the Light Novel yet, so not entirely sure. But i don't think this series focuses to much on love interest or Harem stuff.

Nevertheless based on the Light Novel illustrations, seems like the closets one to being a love interest is the adventurer cat girl, followed by the mother of the dragon girl, and the new girl that appeared in previous chapter, the one who was cloaked and gave MC the Core thing.
As much as I like the cat girl, what happened to the mayor and his little assistant's mother?

This chapter is a first hand lesson on how not to do first impressions.

And why Empathy and Compassion are important values.

Her action to switch is based on empathy, acknowledging that the girls want to protect the dragon and thus siding with them, because they changed from outgroup (unknown girls) to ingroup ("onii-chan"'s sisters). It is not a virtue in and of itself.

Can someone tell me who in the world is Arisu because I legit can't remember who that is :nyoron:
Arisu is grandma. Her JP name is Arisugawa Mio but she's know in the other world as "Arisu Gawamio" And uses Arisu for her new young form in the real world. The twins are under the mistaken impression that grandma and Shirou is an item, because they don't know who she is.

The mayor is basically a friend, which had been made clear since early chapters even in the Manga (she had been shown to have no romantic interest in MC, and only sees him as a business partner).

As for the assistant's mother, well they later learn that her husband is possibly still alive, so she eventually leaves her daughter under MC's & Mayor 's care and goes to search for him.

A bit of correction.

Her real name is "Alice Gawamio"

But when she arrived in Japan in the past, her name was mispronounced and she became known as "Arisugawa Mio" instead (English wasn't that properly understood commonly back then).

The reason the twins mistaken their Grandma, because MC introduces her with her real name "Alice".

WTF!? The cat girl?? What about the town mayor??? You're not gonna tell me that after all those interactions in the beginning she's not even going to be a love interest?? What was the point of even having her in the story together with him so much if they're not even going to get together??
Him and the cat girl are on the same wavelength, I thought everyone knew that was always a ship that could sail. The mayor is more like a neighborhood mom.

Am I reading the same manga? The MC didn't get assaulted by his sisters over some misunderstanding in this chapter?
Probably an attempt to make them more likable since we’re stuck with them.

Fans taking a so called "dragon" (who is a puppy actually) seriously is stupid.
It looks weird even as for a newborn dragon.

Rather than the baby dragon, how about we sell you instead, Emille?
Hah, good luck finding a buyer! That's the good part, you can't get rid of her, she's a voice in your head, ever pushing to make a douche out of you or failing that, drive you mad.

That's not correct. Empathy is the ability to comprehend and share other people's feelings. Her decision was based on what she just heard from his sisters, no need to empathize at all. It's true empathy, like any ability, can be used for less than laudable goals though.

Empathy is solely the ability to understand another person's viewpoint and how they feel, and nothing to do with actually sharing those feelings; that's compassion, and people get the two mixed up all the time (in part due to deliberate semantic bleed to make empathy seem less of a tool for manipulation and more of a Good Thing™). Compassion is that sympathetic resonance of emotion, and is why you see people who are very empathetic towards one group (or even many groups) turn around and are absolutely vile towards another group (or, again, many groups), because they only have compassion for their ingroup or ingroups and not for their outgroups.
