that’s a pretty logical answer. if adult dragons are insanely strong and hard to beat, then just kidnap a young dragon and force it to become a slave or underling instead
but if child dragon is forced into underling, it seems like a sucks demon

Well, you can survive three days without eating. That not much of a problem if you're reasonably healthy. Water is more of an issue, but still doable in that time.

idk why, but all of this kinda just pissed me off. You let Aina get taken cause you don't want the demon to know the egg hatched? If he was gonna lie, he could have said what was inside ran away once it hatched... or get Granny... or something. I mean he still has the offer his Granny gave him to get a bigger power from a few chapters back. I bet he wishes he took her up on that offer now. I mean, this feels like a real stupid development for something I enjoyed when he was all flirty with the mayor.

He didn't 'let' Celes take Aina. He refused to allow Suama being kidnapped, and couldn't think of a reasonable lie that could convince the demon looking for an egg. His being an idiot and refusal to allow Suama's kidnapping doesn't make him culpable/responsible for Aina's kidnapping.
