"SO lies, cheats, and manipulates MC to near if not full blown mental breakdown after which the story focuses on MC working on his flaws that 'caused' their SO to be a psycho nutcase so they can get back together again" has got to be my least favorite genre of romantic writing that I see waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much on this site and I'm sick of it.
I say "SO" and "MC" because I'm not trying to make some statements about genders but TBH the SO is always a woman and the MC is always a man in these cases. Why do they write these dysfunctional a-holes? Who is the target audience? Who wants to have a "manipulated into a abusive co-dependent relationship" self insert fantasy???

edit: the writing is always, as in this case, fermented piss vomit so I guess incompetent "writers" just like to lean on shit tropes...

I liked the start, but this is just stupid as duck, I understand that he thinks he was harsh, but they (the girls) really were massive assholes to him and then with some short convo suddenly they make amends, especially the last chapters with the ex girlfriend (ch 12-ch13) is infuriating.
It already had harem in the tags, so I did not have my hopes up, my expectations were low yet this managed to underperform even that
