On the one hand, I'm always happy to see a story that can cut to the chase and doesn't string the reader along for 100+ chapters of will-they-won't-they filler. On the other hand, it really begs the question of why the other girl was even introduced, unless the author plans on continuing the love triangle even while the ML and FL are in a relationship, which would probably be unpleasant to read.
