This is by far one of the worst axed endings I've ever read. At least with most axed series they try to throw all their ideas out like one last hail mary. This one just had a bad gag and the characters didn't even get together

Sadge that there was no Mizuki arc beyond of what we saw or got to know more about Nekohime, but I enjoyed the ride.
...but I have to say that I really like the art style, so I hope the artist gets to do something new ASAP.

If I'm not wrong, isn't that the annoucement for the physical volume (with an epilogue)? Another commenter from the previous chapter also linked that this chapter would be the last according to the author's X post. However I could be wrong though, not sure how all of this works.

i'm not sure myself, the announcement was made pretty recently so i guess we can just wait for further informations. if what you said is indeed the case, im praying for someone to get their hands on the book and scanlate them for us
